So, tell us something about yourself firstly? How old are you and where was you born?
My name is Dejan but all my friends call me George i am an easygoing person who spends most of my time snowboarding or thinking about it my motto in life is better spend one single day as a tiger than your whole life as a sheap.I am 21 years old and I was born in a small european country called Slovenija.

What brought you to snowboarding at all, what were your beginnings?
I started snowboarding when it was getting populare in this part of europe (late 90's) we used to go snowboarding on local ski resorts but later on it got boring just carving on the slopes so a group of us started hiking on the moutains and just rode powder and build backcountry kikers but no one took it searious it was just fun with your friends. When i was finishing high school the first snowboard park was build in Slovenija and the next year me and my friend got a job as shapper's and then it realy started for me

Our next question concerns your own sport. What kind of snowboarding do you prefer?
Well i love snowboarding so it doesn't matter what i ride freeride or freestyle, i ride a lot in the parks so i love progressing on the jumps and also on the rails, and going out on the street's to jib some man made obsticales is always nice, but the best kind of snowboarding is when i am waste deep in the powder or just hitting a huge backcountry kicker that you and your buddies builed.

Thanks for your answers, have you any message for our people?
No problem it was my pleasure. Yeah don't be nervous if you don't stick a trick that you want that day there is always another day so just have fun out there and stay safe peac

s###t happens

So last weekend i went up to Dachstein to hit the new awsome rail line they setup. Me and my friend and teammate Erik were taking it easy just doing some fun runs trough the park. I was trying a preety basic trick on the round down tube, i didn't lock the trick on the rail so i wanted to bail out, thats when my tail cought the snow and i flew straight on my sholder. I just heard a snap sound and when i stood up, i immediatly knew that my collarbone was broken.

Me and my teamie Anja on Dachstein

The Docs say i have to rest for 4 weeks for the bone to heal, so i was realy happy because that's not that bad and my season is not over!

If all is well i will be back on snow in mid December, so stay tuned for some first pow edits!

Take care,

Dejan
