TOMÁŠ KUDRNÁČ WON CZECH CHAMPIONCHIPS IN BMX DIRT

In past was a city Straz pod Ralskem known more as a mining town of uranium mining. At a time when the mines closed long ago and now is working with the rehabilitation of destroyed underground, BMX grows in Stráž thanks to Benda family. There is of the few BMX training places in the country. The newly built dirt next to the indoor SK8 Park, took place the Championship BMX DIRT last weekend! MEATFLY BMX TEAM represented by Tomáš Kudrnáč and Pavel Caha. Tomas in the five-member's finall battle didn't hit only Slovak Dudo Antalík and thanks to the rule that only Bohemia could get the title, won Kudr Master Cup in his hands! Congratulations!

Freestyle mtb/bmx jam vol. II - Střemeníčko

The second edition of this relaxed event will take place the first Saturday in October - 1.10. 2011th This is not about competition, jam will take the same form as last year. Speakr will announce the obstacle, which will be at that given moment use for ride the best trick in the end will be appropriately valued.

Windless sunny Sunday pulled us out after a long time to have fun on the lift ...
Kiting is for me at first place, but sometimes when there is no wind, I'll go to practice playing the wake and this time it was a luxury. Weather, lift and a bunch of people, everything went just fine. You can choice of three lifts, clean water like the sea, the original obstacles that were in excellent condition and almost one you couldn't find. Just have the courage to roll them: o) What surprised me was very professional level of crew, their advice helped us so much, and not just their the third visit after leaving the lift wake caliber. ALEŠ BINDR GOING WELL!!

Joost Wichman placed third MTB World Cup 4X Champery!

See it again or for the first time; the big final of the 2011 World Championships 4X in Champery. What an amazing evening. Joost took 3rd place but damn he was close...Joost took the holeshot. He was simply the fastest out of the gate. But he couldn't prevent his front wheel from slipping in the first turn. That ended his dream. 3rd place. A great result but it could have been the rainbow jersey.

Nichol Rogatkin spleen injury!

Nichol Rogatkin had recently nasty fall on Portland Dew Tour and at the moment to heal a broken spleen! Good luck in whatever it is soon back on the bike!

"I was recently on a west coast trip, which started out great, and ended very badly. My first stop was the ASA Triples in Orange County, California. The contest was in the middle of the Orange County Fair. This made the event really fun and the people at the fair were going crazy for the tricks that were thrown down. I rode well, and got through a couple battles, but I slipped my pedals and was eliminated.
My next stop was at Woodward West. Woodward is always lots of fun, and the dirt jumps there are amazing. I had a great time for the 4 days that i was there.
My final stop was in Portland, Oregon for the Dew Tour. I was there to ride dirt, and the jumps were fun. My first two days of practice were great, but on the third day, a few hours before the contest, I crashed very badly and ruptured my spleen. I was forced to stay in the Hospital in Portland for 10 days before going home. I will be off my bike for about 3 months."

Joost Wichman second in qualifying 4X Champery World Cup, today he will race!

Dutch fourcross star and former BMX rider Joost Wichman, for a long time is on of the best world riders! He confirmed his present form by second place in qualifying! Joost has been in this qualifi completely surrounded by the Czech team, from the first place Michal Prokop and third Kamil Tatarkovič. Tomas Slavik missed the goal and had to return on foot, even so, he got position in main race, that starting today on Friday 2 September! Crossing the fingers, buddy!

Honza Semerád vyhrál Mistra ČR aggerssive in-line Vert

V Pardubickém Sk8 parku se nachází jedna z mála krytých vertikálních ramp u nás. Proto bylo nasnadě uspořádat Český Mistrovství v královské disciplíně Aggressive In-line právě v tomto východočeském městě. Člen teamu MEATFLY Honza Semerád, se ho nejen zúčastnil, ale podařilo se mu i vyhrát a urvat titul 2011 pro sebe. Gratulujeme! Zde pár slov přímo od něj.

"Počasí bylo parádní, díváci bezvadní a po prvním nešťastném pádu jsem se rychle oklepal a bez větších problémů jezdil dál. Sluníčko zapadá, každou vteřinou jsme čekali kdy speaker odstartuje závod a šlo se na to. Tricky jsem se snažil dělat co nejvíc stylově, pod kontrolou a létat vysoko nad rampu ale během závodů jsem bohužel 2x spadnul, naštěstí vše dopadlo jak dopadlo a já získal svůj první titul..."

Jan Netrval on right way

MTB freestyle season starts coming to an end and Honza Netrval is in top form. Pannonian Challenge in the Croatian city Osijek won in the category MTB Dirt Jump. Last weekend placed in front of strong competition in the seventh on Monster sloepestyle in Basel, Switzerland. Lumberjack simply mounted on the right wave and we hope he lasts!
